Being a movie reviewer I'm used to rating things, but applying my ratings system for movies to apps probably wouldn't work out too well. With apps I'm looking to rate them on functionality, ease of use, and of course the safety of the app on your Android device.
I will use five ratings, or essentially grades, for apps. Being that I aim to review apps I would recommend or otherwise find useful, only one of the ratings is a failing rating I'll reserve for stuff I review just to warn others.
A - It's on my home screen and has everything it needs.
B - Very useful. A home screen app that could be better.
C - Handy to have in an app folder but not a go to app.
D - Lacking in features or offers useful features but has drawbacks.
F - This is crapware. Not a review but a warning.
I reserve the option to add a + or - to the above ratings if I feel it fits. I do not recommend or review apps with advertising unless it is the only app of its kind and it will not be rated above a D.
