About

After losing my internet for a while and having to depend on a mobile phone for internet access I came to appreciate a more mobile friendly blog. I have a regular blog which I started out with the idea of posting concise movie reviews and articles on pop culture as well the occasional rant. Well, I guess like anybody else I get carried away and reviews and articles turn into near short stories in length.

My regular blog is pretty quick to load from a template point of view, but after my most recent 2300 word article and having tried to read a long article on a mobile phone, I decided to dedicate a blog primarily for mobile users with shorter reviews and quick articles on pop culture, occasional rants, and to also include quick reviews of Android apps for your phone and tablet.

I hope to make this blog an easy site to read and navigate for mobile users, and provide entertaining content. Any feedback is always welcome.

You will see several categories of posts show up on this blog. Like any other blog some of them will be self-explanatory and some may seem confusing. So I present a definition of the categories you will see.

Movie Reviews - Yeah, I think you got this one.

Android Apps - I test Android apps on a phone and tablet and review them.*

Where's My Phone? - Rants, opinions, editorials and miscellany.

Movie Night - Movies I find you can stream or download.

Consumer Ed - Insider secrets of retail, sales, advertising and scams.

*I only link to the apps on APKPure. They have all the apps Google Play does but you can download them directly from them without having to install "required" (ahem) Google services that use up your device's resources or having to join or sign-in to anything. If you prefer to get your apps on Google Play Store they have the corresponding link on the page; just scroll/swipe down to the requirements section of the page.

You will also notice news pages like one for world news headlines popping up on here. These are just the same RSS feeds that would be normally loaded in a sidebar, but rather than bloat the blog with that, and you likely would have to scroll to the bottom of the page to see them, if they would even show, I am putting them on individual pages. This way I can offer some daily content that is also mobile friendly and doesn't slow down the blog. Hoping to add entertainment news headlines too.
